Blatta Lateralis (turkish roach set up)

just would like to share my turkish roach set up
it took me 3 colonies (around 200-300 died) to have it like this today
right now there breeding like crazy..
things you need:
*plastic bin (i use a big one)
*substrate and hides (i use coco peat /optional/, and Egg crates)
*food (i use dog food)
*water source ( i use water gels with minerals/ but before i only use a small folded news paper sprayed with water everyday) have tried a small basin but they keep drowning,may be if i placed some pebbles but In my experience drowning was a really big issue with me.

I tried misting before but it only introduced those mites..and molds..

so now here's my current set up..






note: males have wings and females has none and tends to get darker.

Why Blatta Lateralis as food?
1.) They don't bother your t or scorp slings when they molt
2.) They don't climb plastic walls
3.) They're just right size wise
4.) They do breed fast
5.) They don't smell as bad as the household roach.

Giving them oranges makes them breed more faster

i have lots of mineral water gels.. i can give some to you guys at the show..makes the feeders more healthier in my observation.. hehehe

in exhange for water gels for moisture... u can use potatoes or sayote... hehehe...

i dont think so nga maka x breed but maybe may possibility..and basi sila mismo ma infest sang inyo balay hehehe

mayung hapon sa mga tga BEE. aside from watergels, sayote and potato, ano pa gd ang mayo nga obrahon water source sg latts? tnx.
